For people living with cerebral palsy.
In 2011, Aiden (Our little boy) was born at just 26 weeks' gestation (3 months premature) weighing only 960 grams.
Like many babies born at such an early stage of the pregnancy Aiden had suffered minor brain damage and he was diagnosed with mild diplegic cerebral palsy when he was 2 years old.
Despite his daily physical difficulties, Aiden has continually strived to live life his life as any other little boy and at 12 years old has already set his sights on a meeting the physical requirements of being a Queensland Police Officer when he leaves school.
Aiden understands that his disability can’t be cured but with the continued support from the NDIS, his healthcare team and amazing work of organisations such as the Cerebral Palsy League Aiden is determined to achieve his ultimate goal.
I will be stepping 10,000 steps every day for September to help raise money and awareness for the organisations supporting Children & Adults with Cerebral Palsy
