STEPtember:
STEPtember (steptember.org.au) is a fundraising initiative owned and operated by Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA).
The Challenge:
1. The challenge starts on 1 September 2024 and ends on 30 September 2024.
2. To be eligible to receive a reward, STEPtember fundraisers need to meet the conditions outlined below (under "Rewards") by Sunday 11:59pm AEDT on Wednesday 2 October 2024.
3. Any additional fundraising activity must be completed by 11:59pm AEST on Thursday 31 October 2024, and funds raised as part of the campaign must be banked before this date. The STEPtember fundraising pages will remain open until 11:59pm AEST on Thursday 31 October 2024.
4. While participating in this challenge may have health benefits, STEPtember provides no warranty whatsoever that this challenge will achieve an individual's health goals. The challenge has not been developed with any individual's particular health requirements in consideration.
5. Do not rely on the information provided in relation to the STEPtember challenge as an alternative to medical advice from a doctor or other professional healthcare provider. If participants have any specific health or medical concerns, they should consult with their medical or healthcare provider, prior to changing their diet, nutrition, or exercise regimen.
6. While Cerebral Palsy Alliance has made every attempt to ensure that the information provided as part of the STEPtember challenge has been obtained from reliable sources, Cerebral Palsy Alliance is not responsible for any errors or omissions, or for the results obtained from the use of this information.
Agreement:
I/We understand the terms and conditions under which any fundraising activities benefiting Cerebral Palsy Alliance need to operate. I/We have read Cerebral Palsy Alliance’s terms and conditions and offer to participate in STEPtember in accordance with those terms and conditions.
By agreeing to these Terms of Fundraising you acknowledge:
1. Will be solely responsible for all your activities on the steptember.org.au site also referred to as the Site.
2. No person under the age of 18 may use steptember.org.au to donate or fundraise, unless the permission of a parent or guardian is sought to participate in the challenge.
3. You do not have any pending/current charges or past criminal convictions relating to a sexual offence. You do not have any convictions of a violent nature or assault. You have never been convicted, with or without trial of, pleaded guilty or no contest to a theft or fraud charge. You are not currently awaiting or attending a trial or been arrested for a theft, fraud charge, sexual offence, assault or crime of a violent nature.
4. You will be solely responsible for all your activities on the steptember.org.au site also referred to as the Site;
5. You have the legal capacity to enter these terms;
6. You will keep all passwords, account names, log in identifiers required to access steptember.org.au secure and confidential;
7. You will not use steptember.org.au in any way that causes, or is likely to cause, the site or access to it to be interrupted, damaged or impaired in any way.
8. You will not use the site to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organisation;
9. You will not use the Site to conduct, display or forward details of any survey, contest, pyramid scheme or chain letter or use any part of our Site to send commercial messages in contradiction of the Spam Act 2003 (Cth)
10. You will not attempt to modify, adapt, translate, sell, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any portion of the site, any associated website or any other website.
11. You will not hide, deface, alter or delete any copyright symbol, trademark or other proprietary rights notice;
12. You will not use any part of the Site which you are not authorised to use or devise ways to circumvent security in order to access part of the Site which you are not authorised to access. This includes, but is not limited to, scanning networks with the intent to breach and/or evaluate security, whether or not the intrusion results in access.
13. You will not use or attempt to use the Site for any unlawful, criminal or negligent purpose. This includes, but is not limited to, password cracking, social engineering (defrauding others into releasing their passwords), denial-of-service attacks, harmful and malicious destruction of data, infringing the intellectual property rights of any person, and injection of computer viruses and intentional invasion of privacy.
14. Cerebral Palsy Alliance requires that there be no door-to-door appeals, street collections or telephone solicitation of any kind to the public in connection with the STEPtember challenge.
15. You agree to comply with all applicable Fundraising Acts, other laws, regulations and by-laws (including all applicable privacy laws) and any other conditions which we may notify to you. In participating in the STEPtember challenge, you agree to refrain from doing anything which may reasonably be expected to damage the goodwill, reputation or integrity of Cerebral Palsy Alliance.
Disclaimer:
Cerebral Palsy Alliance reserves the right to withdraw approval to fundraise should it be necessary to protect its reputation.
Rewards:
1. Rewards open to all Australian past STEPtember participants and managed organisiations who register for 2024 on steptember.org.au
2. To be eligible to receive a reward, STEPtember fundraisers need to meet the conditions outlined below between Wednesday 10 July and 11:59pm AEDT and Wednesday 2 October 2024.
3. To receive individual fundraising rewards, all fundraisers must claim their rewards via their dashboard and complete the Incentive Claim form including providing a valid Australian postal address.
4. Cerebral Palsy Alliance will not send rewards to addresses outside of Australia.
5. Reward recipients will be notified via their dashboard and registered email.
6. The individual fundraising targets that are required to be eligible to receive rewards include:
Raise $110 - go into the draw to win a STEPtember Luxury getaway package consisting of $1250 Flight Centre voucher AND $1250 Get Away voucher (total value $2500)
Raise $225 – eligible to claim an exclusive STEPtember Legend T-Shirt (size must be selected and no exchanges permitted once selection made)
Raise $500 – eligible to claim an exclusive STEPtember water bottle
Raise $1000 – eligible to claim an exclusive STEPtember Legends pin as well as go into the draw to win 1 of 10 $300 Red Balloon voucher
7. Prizes are as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Prizes are not transferrable.
8. The promoter will not be responsible for any other costs associated with the Get Away voucher, Flight Centre Voucher or the Red Balloon voucher.
9. Winners will be drawn at random on Tuesday 8 October 2024 at 187 Allambie Road, Allambie Heights NSW 2100. Winners will be announced on the STEPtember Australia Facebook Page on Wednesday 9 October 2024 and notified by phone and email. Prizes will be shipped to the winner’s Australian mailing address provided.
10. If a prize is unclaimed, a redraw will take place on Thursday 31 October 2024 at the same location as the original draw. Winners of any redraw will be notified by phone and email.

Early Bird Registration Draw - Terms and Conditions
1. Entry is open to all Australian past STEPtember participants and managed organisiations who register for 2024 on steptember.org.au.
2. Participants must sign up between Monday 15 July and Tuesday 16 July 11:59pm AEST 2024 to be eligible to go into the draw to win.
3. All Cerebral Palsy Alliance employees and directors who work on STEPtember and the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Executive Management Team, are ineligible to enter.
4. Prizes are:
Four major prizes (Valued at $2,265) that consist of:
1x Fitness First Platinum Members (value $1,900 each)
1x 12-month subscription to Audible (value $165 each)
1x $200 Iconic Voucher
OR one of 20 packs (Valued at $365) that consist of:
1x 12-month Audible Subscription (value $165 each)

Registration Draw – Terms and Conditions
1. Entry is open to all Australian past STEPtember participants and managed organisiations who register for 2024 on steptember.org.au.
2. Participants must sign up between Wednesday 17th July and Saturday 31 August 11:59pm AEST 2024 to be eligible to go into the draw to win.
3. All Cerebral Palsy Alliance employees and directors who work on STEPtember and the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Executive Management Team, are ineligible to enter.
4. Prizes is 1 of 20 packs (value $294 each):
1x $200 Iconic Voucher
1x 6-month Audible Subscription (value $94 each)
OR 1 of 60:
1 x JB HiFi Voucher (value $50 each)
5. Prizes are as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Prizes are not transferrable.

Donation with 48 hours of Registration – Terms and Conditions
1. Entry is open to all Australian residents who register as a participant for STEPtember at steptember.org.au, who make a self-donation or receive a donation within 48 hours of registering.
2. Participants fulfilling these requirements between Monday 15th July 17 July and Saturday 31 August 11:59pm AEST 2024 are automatically entered into the draw.
3. All Cerebral Palsy Alliance employees and directors who work on STEPtember and the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Executive Management Team, are ineligible to enter.
4. There are 48 prizes to be won, these are:
1 of 8 x Walking Pad (value $200 each)
1 of 10 x Under desk elliptical/pedal trainer (value $50 each)
1 of 30 x 3-month Audible Subscription (value $49 each)
5. Prizes are as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Prizes are not transferable.
6. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
7. The promoter will not be responsible for any other costs associated with the Walking Pad, Under Desk Elliptical/Pedal Trainer, or the Audible Subscription.

1. Entry is open to all registered STEPtember participants who raise $110. Participants fulfilling these requirements are automatically entered into the draw.
2. Participants fulfilling these requirements between Wednesday 10 July and Wednesday 2 October 11:59pm AEDT 2024 are automatically entered into the draw.
3. All Cerebral Palsy Alliance employees and directors who work on STEPtember and the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Executive Management Team, are ineligible to enter.
