Teresa testimonial
“I love STEPtember. I love what is represents, and I love that it made and continues to make me feel how important it is to ensure that we create an inclusive environment for everyone. It also gives me a reality check on how easy it is for me to just get up and go with no thought... I feel inspired to look at ways I can make a difference and actually make a change to have an inclusive environment at the very least in my workplace.”

- Teresa Vitale, Global People and Culture Business Partner, Protecht Group

HOW STEPTEMBER WORKS FOR ORGANISATIONS

1. SIGN UP

Encourage teamwork, no matter where your employees are working from. Nominate a captain and register together as a team of 4. Participants are also welcome to take on the challenge as a Solo STEPper.

2. STEP UP

Over 40 activities count towards your stepping goal (e.g. walking, swimming, wheeling, pilates and more). Track steps through the STEPtember App, Google Fit, or Apple Health. Log your progress via the app or online.

3. FUNDRAISE

Organisations and STEPpers fundraise online, with access to helpful resources. Online leaderboards track the progress of your teams & departments against each other and participating organisations.

4. SHARE

Celebrate your success on social media and encourage others to STEP up and join the challenge. Fundraising tips, digital resources, and email templates are available to help your organisation spread the word.

DOUBLE YOUR EMPLOYEES' IMPACT

Matched giving is a great opportunity to boost employees' fundraising and make double the impact for people with cerebral palsy.

You raise $10 → your
organisation matches your donations dollar for dollar → your donation becomes $20!

Ask your o
rganisation (CEO, HR or CSR/ESG) if they have a matched giving program in place that will match every dollar raised by employees for their STEPtember challenge. Options could include matching dollar for dollar, double match, or matching to a capped amount—you never know until you ask!
