Saturday 20th Sep
Lots of steps from Disc Golf today. Good round but lost concentration towards the end. Otherwise few steps here and there.

Day 18!

Friday 19th Sep
Took a long time to make these steps up. Commuting in Sydney is a lot worse for stepping than my routine in Canberra!

Thursday 18th Sep
Some steps done today but a bit hamstrung by the long time I spent on the bus to Sydney today. Long day but good steps.

Day 16!

Tuesday 16th Sep
Big walk to work, lunch time stroll, walk back home and a night time run! Good day and lots of steps. Had to dodge some night life activity around Canberra centre on my night time run.

Day 15 - Still Stepping

Tuesday 16th Sep
A bit rough today. Had a few other things that held me back from getting my steps up and above. Been a while since I hit a massive step count so have that on the radar for the rest of the week.

Day 14

Sunday 14th Sep
Another day of transit. Got some a walk in around Parramatta. Started some studying some step specific exercises to make the most out of my steps.

Sunday 14th Sep
Spent a lot of the day in transit but got some steps walking around Sydney's Inner West. Nice sunny day!

12 days in!

Friday 12th Sep
Walking has brought me to some scary places got badly harassed tonight which was quite the shock. Canberra has been so scary to move to and thinking I might have to move!

Day 11

Thursday 11th Sep
Lost some crucial steps today in the rain that derailed my evening plans. Nevertheless happy to have gotten half way to my step goal!

Rainy day 10

Thursday 11th Sep
Too rainy to get to the full 15k. I would have made it if I added other gym exercise and home workouts but steps alone were harder to come by.

Day 9!!

Tuesday 9th Sep
Bigger stepping day today. Walks to and from work plus excursions at lunch time. Spent the evening at a social science debate about history's ability to unite Australians.

Day 7 - Wiped!

Sunday 7th Sep
Completely wiped from the amount of exercise I've done this week. Started off with a gym session where I ran several kilometres and then got the rest of my steps from chores and walking around the suburb. Super tired and sore from walking so hopefully today has been sufficient recovery for the week ahead.

Day 6 - Weekend walking

Saturday 6th Sep
Spent a good chunk of the day playing disc golf which accounted for the vast majority of steps. Otherwise did some running in the evening too. Bit tired so might have to manage expectations tomorrow and lighten the load.

Day 5

Friday 5th Sep
The end of the work and my feet are killing me after I made my steps in my slightly ill-fitting dress shoes. Anyway lots of walking today including later in the night surrounded by growling possums with glowing eyes.

Day Four

Thursday 4th Sep
Canberra's spring blessings continue to impress. Went to the gym in the morning, walked to work, played soccer at lunch, walked home and went for a run after dinner. Might take it easy tomorrow before a packed weekend! 😁

Day Three!!

Wednesday 3rd Sep
Lots of steps in from my commute and additional walking done for a little mission I had to do during the day. Also got a pacey walk at lunch.

Day Two

Tuesday 2nd Sep
Didn't quite make 20,000 steps today! Had a later wake up at 6:30 so didn't have time to exercise before work and went to a comedy show in the evening. Otherwise steps come from commutes, lunch time walking and walking to the event tonight in Belconnen.

First day of Steptember!

Monday 1st Sep
Today started with a cold Canberra walking commute (4 km), a lunch time walk (3 km), another walking commute home (4 km), a 15 km cycle, a walk to shops (3.5 km each way) and then quick home work out.
