I'm taking on Steptember in memory of Levi
My wife and I were overjoyed to discover we were expecting our first child. The pregnancy went smoothly, but during the birth, our son Levi faced complications and was born with severe Cerebral Palsy (CP) due to hypoxia. Despite the challenges, Levi's bright and chirpy personality blossomed, and he brought immense joy to our lives.
Levi loved engaging in various activities, from playing with his toys to going for walks with us. He surpassed medical expectations daily, showing incredible resilience and intelligence. He learned to communicate using an iPad and enjoyed interacting with his family.
One night Levi experienced a seizure that led to his hospitalization, and despite the best efforts of medical professionals, he passed away. Our journey with Levi inspired us to raise funds to help other families facing similar challenges.
