Willow's CP Story

Wednesday 26th Jul

This September, The Kemp Family will be supporting the STEPTEMBER initiative that raises money for cerebral palsy. 100% of the money donated goes to Cerebral Palsy Alliance who allocate it to the greatest need throughout Australia E.g. Research, equipment, programs and therapy centres. Our family will be walking 10 000 steps each day in support of our 18 month old daughter, Willow ‘The Warrior’ Kemp. Willow was diagnosed with moderate to severe cerebral palsy caused by Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE) at birth (HIE occurs in 0.5-1% of 1000 live births in Australia with up to 60% of infants dying)

Currently, Willow has an amazing support team that includes a paediatrician, dietitian, PEG & ENT specialists, physiotherapist, speech therapists (food & language), occupational therapists and of course her amazing family & friends that help Willow reach her full potential.

We honestly can't begin to thank everyone connected to Willow and our family enough!
