We’re taking on Steptember! Will you please show your support?
This Steptember, staff across Hobsons Bay City Council are moving more for a great cause—raising funds for children living with cerebral palsy.
We’re each aiming for 10,000 steps a day, and we’re getting creative to hit those numbers—think:
-
Walking meetings instead of sitting ones
-
Lunchtime laps around Cherry Lake, Altona Beach, or the Williamstown foreshore
-
Your morning coffee run - a return walk from the Civic Centre to Pier 71 Café adds around 1,300 steps!
-
Taking the stairs, parking a bit further away, or pacing while on calls
Every step supports early therapy and care for kids in their first 1000 days—when it matters most.
Your donation = motivation for us + life-changing support for children and families doing it tough.
Every step counts!
