STEPtember 24

Stepping in memory of Harry

We step in memory of our beautiful nephew. Harry had Dystonic Quadraplegia Cerebral Palsy. Although his condition meant he had very little movement throughout his body, his smile was enough to move and inspire anyone who came into his presence. Harry required a lot of very expensive equipment, medications and therapy’s throughout his life and he was lucky to have the help of the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, along the way. Equipment like this enabled him to join in (with his specialised custom chair), communicate (with his eye computer), walk with his family (walking trainer), and give him the most simplest of experiences all kids should get.

Although we sadly lost Harry, and we miss him every day, we wanted to keep his infectious, kind-spirited, legacy alive, by supporting something that helped support Harry in so many ways. That’s why this year we are again supporting the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Steptember Fundraiser.

If you have a spare dollar to donate or can even just share this post/page to help us honour his memory, it would be greatly appreciated. Let’s help out other kids live their life to the fullest potential, just like Harry did.

Thanks for your support,

Moving towards 10,000 steps a day is one heck of a challenge! But each move will be made easier knowing it's all for a very worthy cause. Every dollar we raise will support life-changing research, treatment, services and assistive technologies to help people with cerebral palsy. Please help us support this great cause, and let's STEP up together, for cerebral palsy.

Why STEPtember is important to me

Every 20 hours, an Australian child is diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

I'm STEPing up this September to fundraise to support Cerebral Palsy Alliance in their mission to help people with cerebral palsy live their best lives.

STEPtember participants are passionate about being healthy, building a more inclusive world and making a life-changing impact for people with cerebral palsy.

Will you STEP up with me for cerebral palsy?
