Doing it for the kids.
I’ve had the privilege of volunteering for a day at the Cerebral Palsy Education Centre in Glen Waverley. It was clear how much parents of cerebral palsy affected children, and the children themselves, rely on such a facility to help them reach their potential in life. A centre like this needs specialised equipment and assistive technologies, as well as qualified and dedicated teachers, carers, cooks, cleaners, etc. I am enthusiastic about supporting such a cause and doing a small bit to try to raise some funds for their continued services.
