Upping the ante for CP this year
I am proud to be involved in STEPtember. My 15 year old son, Oscar, lives with Cerebral Palsy. He has experienced a tough 12 months with major surgery last year, rehab and more minor surgery a few months ago. It’s impacted his ability to move, socialise, attend school and generally live his life. He is now more mobile and pain free, which is a testament to his rehab and the service providers and technology they use. I’ve opted to donate to these causes as it makes a difference.
I stepped over 400,000 steps and raised over $2,000 last year. This year, I am upping the ante. I’m going to run my first ultramarathon (Yurrebilla Trail 56km in Adelaide) in September - so I reckon this will clock up some steps!
