Stepping for My Great Nephew - and Thousands Like Him

Every year, I join STEPtember with my great nephew in mind. He’s an incredible kid who’s needed walking frames, wheelchairs, leg braces, and ongoing therapy to navigate the world. Watching his journey has shown me just how vital support and mobility aids are—not just for movement, but for independence, confidence, and joy.

That’s why I’m walking, stepping, and moving this September. To raise funds for organisations like Cerebral Palsy Alliance, who provide these essential resources to children and adults living with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.

Your donation helps fund therapy, equipment, and support services that change lives.
Let’s step forward together—for inclusion, for access, and for brighter futures.

Thank you for being part of this journey 💚

Why You Should Step Up This STEPtember

Wednesday 27th Aug

If you’ve been watching from the sidelines, wondering whether to join, this is your sign. STEPtember isn’t just a challenge—it’s a movement. And it needs people like you.

💚 Walk With Purpose

Cerebral palsy affects over 34,000 Australians. STEPtember raises vital funds for therapy, equipment, and research that transforms lives. Every step you take helps someone take theirs.

This isn’t about being an athlete. It’s about showing up. Whether you walk, run, roll, or dance your way through the challenge, you’re making a difference.

🙌 You’re Not Alone

When you register, you become part of a community. You’ll be inspired by stories of resilience, and reminded daily that your steps matter.

Plus, the challenge is surprisingly fun:

  • Pets become your unofficial training partners.
  • You will discover hidden walking trails in your own neighbourhood.
  • You get to track your progress and share your journey online.

🎯 Make It Personal

Dedicate your challenge to someone you know, or simply walk for those who can’t. You’ll be amazed how meaningful each step becomes when it’s tied to a cause.

And if you’re fundraising? Even better. Every dollar raised goes directly to helping children and adults with cerebral palsy live more independent, empowered lives.

🚶 Ready to Step Up?

Registration is open now. The challenge starts September 1st. All you need is a pair of shoes and a reason to move—and trust me, you’ve got both.
