Steptember 25

I'm taking on Steptember! Will you please show your support?

Hey there! I’m stepping up for a month-long mood boost and taking on 10k steps a day. But I really need your help!

Please donate now to my Steptember fundraiser.

You’ll give me a much-needed motivation boost, plus you’ll feel great knowing that your gift is helping ensure more babies receive critical cerebral palsy therapy and support in the first 1000 days of life.

Please support me this Steptember.

It will mean so much to me, and to the children and babies who will grow up with a greater sense of independence.

Every little bit counts!

Thank you!.

Setting myself a challenge

Thursday 11th Sep

Before Steptember, my daily average was 8000 steps per day. I set myself a target to increase my average step count by 2000 steps each week.

Besides a morning walk, or an evening HIIT session, sharing some ways I try to sneak in extra steps into my day:

1. Use a cup instead of a bottle for water at the desk. Every refill means a walk to the kitchen.

2. Park at the back of the train carpark to get in extra steps each WFO day. Also walk to a CBD station further away than Southern cross on my evening commute.

3. March in place or walk around the room while watching TV (making sure I don't block hubby's view!)

4. Quick 10-minute walk after lunch - this is something I've struggled to do in the past, but squeezing this in when I can.

5. New Steptember habit- if it's a meeting I'm running, book a meeting room on a different floor 😁
