The juggle is REAL. But maybe there’s hope…

Since getting back into an office-based role, I find myself once again, sedentary, in front of a computer screen for long hours and snacking on whatever might be at hand. It is only fitting then, that my workplace is driving this initiative to encourage more movement, getting a better balance with work and mental health, and topping it all off by supporting a worthy cause. 


Steptember is all about raising critical funds to support early detection and therapy for babies with cerebral palsy. 


I’m committed to these 10k steps a day but  this is where I need your help! 


Your donation will give me a much-needed motivation boost, and I will gladly carry your donation with me as I trek, cycle and Pilates my way through this month.  I also hope that it gives you the warm and fuzzies, knowing that your gift is helping ensure more babies receive critical cerebral palsy therapy and support in the first 1,000 days of life.

Super pleased to have hit my step target for this challenge, as well as raising $750, then over $1,000 for the fundraising component. Thank you to all of you who have donated. Your support is so important to me and to the little ones with Cerebral Palsy who get a chance at a brighter future. Here's to good habits and good health!

How's this for motivation?! I hadn't expected this support from the little ones as I stepped up my game on the peloton. With offers of drinks, shouts of encouragement as well as sounds of wonder as I pushed myself along, knowing that my modelling helps these mini-me's with good, healthy habits is another great outcome from Steptember. Halfway through and so far so good!
