Salter Brothers Hospitality is Stepping Up for Steptember!
This September, teams from across Salter Brothers Hospitality are coming together to take on an organisation-wide Steptember challenge, with a goal of moving more, supporting each other, and making a real difference for children and families impacted by cerebral palsy.
We're challenging ourselves to achieve 10,000 steps a day, and we'd love your support.
By donating to our fundraiser, you'll not only help motivate our teams throughout the month, but you'll also support early intervention therapy and vital services that give babies and children with cerebral palsy the best possible start in life.
Every donation, big or small, helps create greater opportunities, independence, and brighter futures for the children and families who need it most.

SBH Steptember Challenge Off to an Incredible Start
The Salter Brothers Hospitality team has hit the ground running in this year's Steptember Challenge, achieving an outstanding fundraising milestone just days into the month.
We are excited to announce that we have already surpassed our initial fundraising goal of $5,000, reaching an incredible $5,689.37 in just three days. The enthusiasm and generosity shown across the business have been truly inspiring, and as a result, we've officially increased our fundraising target to $10,000.
Steptember is more than just a fitness challenge. It brings our teams together while supporting the vital work of Cerebral Palsy Alliance, helping fund early detection, therapy, research, and support services for people living with cerebral palsy and their families.
Our Progress So Far
As at 10am on 4 September, our collective efforts have achieved:
- 160,220 total steps
- 76 active participants
- 125 kilometres travelled
- $5,689.37 raised
The challenge has sparked plenty of friendly competition between teams, with participants embracing the opportunity to stay active while making a meaningful difference.
Looking Ahead
As part of Steptember, we encourage everyone at properties to participate in our R U OK? Walk on 10 September. The walk is a valuable reminder of the importance of checking in with the people around us and fostering a culture of support, connection, and wellbeing across our workplaces.
