I'm taking on Steptember! Will you please show your support?
Meet our beautiful boy, Archer.
Archer was born prematurely alongside his twin brother, Bowie. Following his birth, an MRI revealed that Archer had developed severe cystic bilateral periventricular leukomalacia (PVL), an injury to the developing brain. He has since been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, which is expected to affect the movement and function of all four of his limbs.
Despite everything he has faced so early in life, Archer is an incredibly determined, loving little boy. He works hard every day through physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and other supports to help him feel comfortable, connected and empowered to reach his own potential.
This September, our team is taking part in STEPtember for Archer and for every child and family living with cerebral palsy. Every step we take represents the enormous effort Archer puts into developing new skills—things many of us do without a second thought.
By supporting our team, you will help Cerebral Palsy Alliance provide essential services, equipment, therapy and research to create brighter futures for people living with cerebral palsy.
Archer, your journey may look different from someone else’s, but different does not mean less. Every smile, every movement, every cuddle and every new skill is worth celebrating. Progress is not measured by how fast you go—it is measured by the love, patience and determination that surround you every day.
You are deeply loved, exactly as you are.
Whether you donate, join our team or simply share our page, your support means more to our family than we can express.
We are walking with Archer, celebrating every achievement and believing in all that is possible for him.
Every step is for you, Archer. 💚
