Hi!
This month I am raising money for a cause very dear to my heart. I'm doing Steptember, and walking at least 5000 steps per day to raise funds for cerebral palsy research.

My sister Caitlyn was born with cerebral palsy and has a rather tough life. She didn't walk until she was 5, has no control of her right arm and hand, had to go to a special school and college for disabled people, and had many terrible surgeries to lengthen the tendons in her legs.
While Caitlyn was fairly independent for much of her life, holding down a full time job and living on her own, she is now extremely frail, wheelchair bound and living in a group care home for people with cerebral palsy. She is only 59.
