Peter, Here's Your Jacket

When Steptember began, we thought it would be a simple fundraising challenge. Walk a few more steps, raise some money, and support a great cause.

Then Peter got involved.

Suddenly, walking became a team sport. Lunchtime strolls turned into power walks. Trips to the printer became fitness sessions. Some of us are convinced Peter was secretly doing laps around the office while waiting for the kettle to boil.

And who could forget Peter's favourite saying:

"I'm not obsessed with steps... I'm just one walk away from a personal best!"

That quote seemed to become the unofficial motto of our Steptember campaign.

But what started with step counts quickly became something bigger.

Peter's enthusiasm brought people together. We shared laughs, compared daily totals, encouraged one another, and kept moving toward a common goal. Through every step, we helped raise funds and awareness for people living with cerebral palsy, making our efforts truly meaningful.

The best part wasn't who walked the furthest. It was the teamwork, camaraderie, and generosity that made this Steptember journey so special.

So today, Peter, this jacket is more than just a jacket.

It's a symbol of the thousands of steps taken, the funds raised, the laughter shared, and the positive impact we've made together.

It's also a reminder that if anyone's fitness tracker ever runs out of battery, Peter probably has an estimate of their step count anyway.

On behalf of the team, thank you for your energy, encouragement, and unwavering commitment to the cause. You've inspired us to go the extra mile, sometimes quite literally.

Peter, we're proud of what we've achieved together and grateful for the spirit you've brought to the journey.

So, with great appreciation and a smile, we'd like to say:

Peter, here's your jacket. Wear it proudly. You've earned every step of it.
