I'm taking on Steptember! Will you please show your support?
2026 is my first time doing Steptember. Mainly because I have back issues due to significant scoliosis, which means that I have daily pain when walking - so I wasn't sure whether I could meet the step target or not.
I signed up for just 7500 steps a day but delayed asking for sponsorship until I was sure that I could do the challenge - which it turns out that (on most days) I can!!! 🏃➡️

Teresa was born in 1974 with profound disabilities due to cerebral palsy.
She cannot walk, speak, feed or toilet herself, she is unable to scratch an itch or roll over in bed...she requires 24/7 care – every, single, day of her life.
The daily impact of her care on her family was life changing, yet through her resilience she is a constant inspiration to everyone who meets her.
I am walking to raise awareness and most importantly donations in support of the Leading Global Centre for Cerebral Palsy Support | Cerebral Palsy Alliance Australia because by donating to Steptember we are helping them to:
· Provide services and strategies for every stage of life
· Find ways to prevent, treat, and cure cerebral palsy
· Develop technologies to improve quality of life
· Provide advocacy for changes that matter
