My beautiful boy Johnny was born prematurely at 28 weeks. Because of his early entry into the world he has been diagnosed as high risk of cerebral palsy.
We’ve been working with the early diagnosis clinic and the cerebral palsy alliance in aiding Johnny with his early diagnosis and early intervention therapies such as speech, OT and physio.
So this September.. I’m stepping up for all the other premature babies and children at risk of cerebral palsy, and for the incredible families who quietly carry the worry, the hope and the “what ifs” every single day.
