Steptember 26

I'm taking on Steptember! Will you please show your support?

Hi! I’m stepping up for a month-long mood boost and taking on 10k steps a day. But I really need your help!

Please donate now to my Steptember fundraiser.

You’ll give me a much-needed motivation boost, plus you’ll feel great knowing that your gift is helping ensure more babies receive critical cerebral palsy therapy and support in their first 1,000 days of life.

Please support me this Steptember.

It will mean so much to me, and to the children and babies who will grow up with a greater sense of independence.

Donate now for an instant mood boost! Thank you!

40,000 Steps Closer: The Good, the Bad, and the Sweaty of My Final Long Run

Monday 7th Sep
If you saw someone waddling through the streets on Saturday looking like a penguin trying to locate a couch ... that was just me completing my final peak training run for the Geelong Marathon.
The grand total? Over 42,000 steps.
My Garmin watch is thrilled with me. My legs, on the other hand, have initiated silent treatment.
Hitting that massive number on Saturday was a wild mix of high-intensity grit and deep psychological bargaining. There was the "Everything is great, I love fresh air!" phase, followed quickly by the "What was I thinking?" phase.
But as painful as those final kilometres were, every single step had a massive purpose behind it.
I am counting these kilometres toward the annual STEPtember challenge. While the official daily goal is 10,000 steps, Saturday’s marathon prep gave my fundraising dashboard a serious boost! More importantly, it’s all for an incredible cause: raising vital funds and awareness for babies, children, and adults living with cerebral palsy.
