My beautifully perfect firstborn daughter suffered a catastrophic brain injury as a newborn. The effects of that injury have left her with lifelong challenges. While she presents as a neurotypical child and is expected to grow into an independent, functioning adult, we know just how fortunate we are.

Early intervention changed the course of her life. The support she received gave her opportunities she may never have had otherwise and I have seen firsthand the incredible difference it can make for our most vulnerable little humans.

Every child born with cerebral palsy deserves that same opportunity to reach their full potential. No family should miss out on life-changing support simply because the resources aren’t there.

This cause is deeply personal to me. I know what it feels like to hear life-changing news about your child and I also know the hope that comes from seeing them achieve milestones you once thought might never be possible. Every step forward has been made possible through love, determination, and access to the right support at the right time.
