We’re taking on Steptember! Will you please show your support?
This September, Ella Centre is proud to be taking part in Steptember in honour and memory of Lucy who sadly passed away earlier this year.
Lucy was a much-loved member of the Ella Centre community for more than 10 years. Living with cerebral palsy, Lucy showed us that there are many ways to experience movement, connection and community. One of the things she loved most was going for long walks — especially around Haberfield and along the water. She loved being outdoors, exploring her community and enjoying the simple moments along the way.
Taking part in Steptember is our way of celebrating Lucy’s life and keeping her memory close as we walk together in her honour. It is also an opportunity to raise awareness of cerebral palsy and fundraise to support people living with cerebral palsy and their families.
Every step we take this September is a step for Lucy. 💜
