Steptember 25

I'm taking on Steptember! Will you please show your support?

Hiya! I’m stepping up for a month-long mood boost and taking on 10k steps a day. But I really need your help!

Please donate now to my Steptember fundraiser.

You’ll give me a much-needed motivation boost, plus you’ll feel great knowing that your gift is helping ensure more babies receive critical cerebral palsy therapy and support in the first 1000 days of life.

Please support me this Steptember.

It will mean so much to me, and to the children and babies who will grow up with a greater sense of independence.

Donate now for an instant mood boost! Thank you!.

Steptember Update: Steps, Shakes, and Making a Difference!

Monday 29th Sep

Well September is nearly over and I've been loving every step of this 11.5k daily challenge! What started as a commitment to move more has turned into the perfect excuse to explore Wellington - and let me tell you, I've been doing some serious "research" at Maranui Cafe in Lyall Bay. Their milkshakes are genuinely the best on earth, and the perfect post-walk recovery (not to mention the 8,000 steps it takes to walk there)!

The steps have been adding up through all sorts of activities - my usual walks around the city waterfront, physio exercises (who knew there were over 40 different ways to rack up steps?), and even working backstage at World of Wearable Arts. Every step counts, and it's been great to see how movement fits into so many parts of life.

But here's the thing - while I'm having a blast with the challenge, the real reason I'm doing this is for the babies and kids with Cerebral Palsy who benefit from our fundraising. After 15 years of being part of our workplace Steptember organizing committee, I've seen firsthand the incredible impact these donations make. The support goes directly to those who need it most, and it genuinely changes lives.

I'm on track with my personal fundraising goal, but I'd love to smash it with your help. If you can spare even a few dollars, it would mean the world to me and make a real difference to families dealing with Cerebral Palsy. Every donation, no matter the size, adds up to something amazing.

Ready to join me on this journey? Click the link at the top of my page and donate now.

Thanks for cheering me on - now back to those Wellington streets (and maybe another research trip to Maranui...)!
