Stepping it up, one foot at a time. Will you help out?
I’m stepping up for Steptember, but I’ve decided 10,000 steps a day wasn’t quite enough of a challenge.
So my goal is 20,000 steps every day for the entire month of September.
There’ll be plenty of running in those steps, including the Hounslow Marathon and a half marathon, but the real challenge is the consistency. Race day steps are easy to come by. Getting to 20,000 on the tired days, rest days and ordinary work days might be a different story.
I’m doing it to raise funds for Cerebral Palsy Alliance, helping babies and children with cerebral palsy access vital therapy, equipment and support.
If you’d like to support my Steptember challenge, I’d love a donation. And if you see me wandering around the block at 9pm because I’m sitting on 18,742 steps, you’ll know why.
It will mean so much to me, and to the children and babies who will grow up with a greater sense of independence.
Donate now for an instant mood boost! Thank you!
