Steptember 26

I'm taking on Steptember! Will you please show your support?

Hi! I’m stepping up for a month-long mood boost and taking on 10k steps a day. But I really need your help!

Please donate now to my Steptember fundraiser.

You’ll give me a much-needed motivation boost, plus you’ll feel great knowing that your gift is helping ensure more babies receive critical cerebral palsy therapy and support in their first 1,000 days of life.

Please support me this Steptember.

It will mean so much to me, and to the children and babies who will grow up with a greater sense of independence.

Donate now for an instant mood boost! Thank you!

Who I’m walking for- Willow the Warrior!

Monday 10th Aug

This year will be my 4th year walking for my darling niece Willow!

Here is a little bit about her story:

Willow’s journey started with a diagnosis of Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE)—a type of brain injury caused by a lack of oxygen at birth—which led to cerebral palsy. While these terms describe the challenges she faces, they don't even begin to define who she is.

Willow is is the most determined girl you will ever meet. Her weeks are filled with dedicated therapy routines, including intensive sessions with allied health professionals and at the NAPA Centre, where she works incredibly hard on her physical strength, motor skills, communication, etc. She faces every tough session with the kind of grit that leaves the rest of us in absolute awe.

Willow is PEG fed (tube), and moves through the world differently to the 'norm', but she doesn’t let anything hold her back. She uses an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) device to share her wants and needs and constantly keeps us on our toes!

She even jokes around and laughs when she says “Aunty Caylee go home! “
