I’m stepping up for a month-long wellness boost and taking on a 10k a day steps challenge for STEPtember. As a certified homebody who is usually glued to a desk, I am really going to need your help to get out the door each day! 😅
Having spent years working in Developmental Genetics Labs, I know firsthand how expensive research can be, and how critical early detection can be for stepping in and intervening during development. By pushing myself this month, I'm specifically raising money to help fund genetic testing for babies. 🧬👶
This testing is an absolute gamechanger. It can uncover the genetic causes behind cerebral palsy, which means clinicians can develop highly effective, individualised therapies tailored to exactly what each baby needs right from the start.
