Every step I take this September is for Brooklyn, and for every family navigating the journey of cerebral palsy
I’m doing Steptember because Cerebral Palsy Alliance changed our lives.
The Early Intervention Clinic diagnosed Brooklyn. They listened and immediately helped us navigate our new normal with therapies, medical reports, early intervention and support.
We are now praying we get a chance to use our future baby’s stem cells through Cerebral Palsy Alliance to help regenerate Brooklyn’s brain injury and improve the movement on his right side.
We didn’t receive NDIS funding until seven months after his diagnosis, and it was fundraising that helped bridge the gap, allowing Brooklyn to continue his OT, speech and physiotherapy at Cerebral Palsy Alliance.
None of this would have been possible without the generosity of others. Now it’s our turn to give back.
